Get inspired to scrap your summer memories in a mini-album.  When I was a kid, I loved July 4th because it represented everything that summer was all about; picnics, hot dogs, swimming, being outside all day long (to name a few). Now that I am older, I still get the same excited feeling as the 4th of July approaches. I know that we are truly is the full swing of summertime. And with summer and July 4th, come many wonderful scrapable moments. Every one of us has different summer traditions, vacations, and memories; therefore, all of our summer scrapbook projects will be completely different. This is one reason that I loved reading Memory Makers’ Crystal Jeffrey Rieger’s article about her summer mini-albums that she is creating for each of her children.

Crystal used a very generic title for each of her daughter’s albums. This will allow her the flexibility to add anything that catches her attention, no matter how big or small it is. Crystal has finished the first pages in her children’s’ mini-books and they are adorable. She allowed her daughter to even add her own writing to her book to make it more personal. You can check out her work in progress and read all about these inspiring mini-albums at http://www.memorymakersmagazine.com/crystaljeffreyrieger/Summer+Album+Started.aspx. Seeing these wonderful books make me ready to scrap our family’s summer fun.
